The Quilt Index is a digital repository of images and stories of nearly 100,000 quilts and the artists who made them. The Quilt Index Black Diaspora Quilt History Project is an effort, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities, to preserve and make accessible the quilt history of Africans and African Americans. The Michigan Quilt Project is dedicated to preserving the history of quilts made and used by Michiganders.
