SuMO: Summer Mathematics Online
Who: Students currently in grades 6-10
What: Provides classroom instruction for qualified gifted students looking to complete accelerated math instruction in a shorter time beginning the week of June 20 and ending the week of August 29. Student’s may apply for one class either in Algebra I or Algebra II.
Program times, dates, and locations are tentative and may change due to MSU COVID-19 restrictions. MSU youth programs, as defined by the MSU Youth Programs policy, are recommended to not occur in-person on the MSU campus, at satellite MSU venues, or off-campus until further notice. MSU youth programs may continue to operate through remote and/or online instruction. Please check back here periodically for the most up-to-date information.

Cost: There is a $50 non-refundable application fee. Tuition for residential students is $450.

Algebra I: ACT Math: 17, Composite: 18; OR SAT Math: 500, Composite: 980; OR CogAT: 90th Percentile
Algebra II: ACT Math: 18, Composite: 19; OR SAT Math: 520, Composite: 980; OR CogAT: 90th Percentile
