Program: MSTL: Math, Science, Technology and Leadership

Who: Students currently in grades 9-10

What:  A two-week commuter and residential program intended for academically talented students.  Students will choose two STEM courses, as well as one Leadership Workshop, which is designed to introduce students to concepts and skills required to be a leader in STEM fields.

Program times, dates, and locations are tentative and may change due to MSU COVID-19 restrictions. MSU youth programs, as defined by the MSU Youth Programs policy, are recommended to not occur in-person on the MSU campus, at satellite MSU venues, or off-campus until further notice. MSU youth programs may continue to operate through remote and/or online instruction. Please check back here periodically for the most up-to-date information.

Cost: There is a $50 non-refundable application fee. Tuition for residential students is $1,950. Tuition for commuter students is $995.

Application Requirements: Students currently in grades 9-10; ACT Math: 19 ACT OR Reading: 20 OR Composite: 20; New SAT Math: 510, Evidence-Based Reading & Writing: 50 OR Total: 1000; OR CogAT: 90th Percentile; teacher recommendation; most recent report card.
